MTE: Machine Tool EngineeringMTE is a young Spanish company incorporated in 1994, employing a staff of thirty.
Their output capacity is 9 machines a month and they produce a range of four numerically controlled fixed bed-milling machines starting at 1.5 meters going up to 4.5 meter traverse’ to major markets in Germany, Spain, Italy and France.
Using the latest development of Heidenhain control systems with all of their machines, MTE products are capable of being equipped with automatic heads, tool changers, rotary tables and chip conveyers which allow for machining of components up to 13 tons.
To meet the demand for more profitable production processes with shorter machining times and higher standard, more accurate finishes, MTE has developed 4 types of millers, K models, BF models, KT models and the HSK models, with table widths spanning from 750mm to 1200mm and X/Y axis travel of 1500mm x 800mm to 4000mm x 1200mm.
