1952
ONA is founding with the purpose of manufacturing special machine tools.
1955
ONA develops its first die-sinking EDM machine: the model ONA WSM - 4.5.
1963
Second generation of ONA die-sinking EDM machines: the CM Series.
1969
First family of ONA EDM machines with transistorized generators: the BA Series.
1977
ONA develops its first family of wire EDM machines: the ONA EBAGOKI Series.
1981
ONA develops the first CNC in the world exclusively for EDM machines: the CNC ONA POLISPARK
1985
ONA develops its first generation of large “gantry type” die-sinking
EDM machines, with capacity to load electrodes up to 3000 kg on the
head.
1991
Launching of the ONA DATIC-F Series. These machines are equipped with
a new superfine-finishing generator that achieves a best surface finish
of 0.1 µm Ra – 0 VDI.
1992
ONA moves to a new state-of-the-art factory, where the headquarters
as well as the technical, R&D and administration facilities are also
located.
1993
ONA patents the first 100% ecological filter for wire EDM machines,
which is incorporated as standard on the entire family of ONA PRIMA.
1999
ONA develops its first generation of large wire EDM machines with
capacity to load workpieces up to 10000 kg and cutting a height of 600
mm (ONA K1000 model).
2002
First family of ONA EDM high speed die-sinking machines: the CS-HS.
2005
Launching of the new family of ONA NX die-sinking EDM machines, which
features the new ONA-S64 CNC allows us to work in 3D without limits.
2006
Launching of the new family of ONA AX wire EDM machines that features
the new digital generator ONA Easycut allowing maximum cutting speeds
up to 500 mm2/min.
2008
Launching of a new family of high-precision ONA AF wire EDM machines that reaches a best surface finishing of 0.2 µm Ra .
2009
Launching of two new families of large wire and die-sinking EDM
machines with modular design: the ONA AF MODULAR Series and the ONA NX
MODULAR Series. Each customer can get a custom system with
unprecedented flexibility and for the same price and lead time as a
standard machine. |
